Job Summary.
Mobile CSP Master Teachers are a critical and important part of supporting the success of the project. Master teachers work closely with a small group of 10-12 teacher-participants in a professional learning community (PLC). Master teachers provide ongoing support and encouragement throughout the summer course and school year. The Mobile CSP professional development (PD) consists of a 4-week summer course followed by support throughout the school year. Master Teachers should expect to spend on average about 25-30 hours a week working on the project during the summer PD (minimum of 100 hours over 4 weeks). There are two PD options, online and hybrid.

Online Format (virtual groups): June 19- July 22, no required PD July 3- July 9 (all weeks completed online)
Hybrid Format (regional sites): June 26- July 21 (Weeks 1 and 4 in person, Weeks 2 and 3 completed online)
(start and end dates will vary based on regional school schedules)
Orientation. Master teachers will participate in a 2 day orientation workshop April 22-23, 2017 in the Twin Cities with travel and arrival on April 21. (Note: Travel, lodging, and meals will be reimbursed up to $1,000 each by the Mobile CSP Project.)
Funding. Master teachers will receive stipends for summer PD and academic year support.
