Mobile CSP’s 7th Annual App Expo

The Mobile CSP Expo made its return this year for the 7th Annual event. Students who were enrolled in the Mobile CSP course during the 2020-21 academic year were invited to demonstrate the apps they had created during the course under the guidance of trained Mobile CSP teachers.  This year's expo included 20+ app submissions, 15 schools, 13 teachers,  over 30 students, and over 50 hours of engagement on Flipgrid! Thank you to all of those who participated in our first virtual expo!

Attendees had the opportunity to view the submitted apps via Flipgrid.  Attendees were asked to vote for their favorite app. The app with the most likes earned the Mobile CSP People's Choice Award.  As an addition, this year CS professionals served as judges to score the submitted apps on criteria such as creativity and social impact.  Winners received some cool prizes and all participanting students received cloud storage space from PaperSpace!

The event concluded with a closing ceremony on Saturday,  June 5, 2021.  Two special messages were shared from Tik Tok content creators and our keynote speaker was Miral Kotb creator/founder of iLuminate. To view the recording, click here.
